Surface Mount Soldering Procedure

1.  Firstly, apply a little bit of solder lead to one of the PCB pads for the component to be installed.

2. By using a tweezers, pick up the component to be installed and place it over the appropriate pads.

3. At the same time, move the soldering iron to the solder lead on the PCB pad.

4. When the solder lead is heat, use the tweezers to adjust the position of the component.

5. When the position is correct, remove the solder iron and allow the solder lead to cool.

6.  After that, solder on the other side of the PCB pads for component to be install.

7.  Lastly, tidy the soldering as well as the soldering is fulfill like in book Acceptability of Electronic Assemblies (IPC-A-610D) in chapter 4 and chapter 7.

This is my first day in UteM holding. I registered mysellf at 9a.m to Mr. Mazran and Mr Siva at Hitech Integrated Solutions Innovation Sdn. Bhd. located in FKEKK, UTeM.

11 A.M.

Prepared and clean the tutorial room to use it as the company's operations center of HIIS Sdn Bhd as we undertake industrial training. This room will be used as a place to complete task given, such as soldering, update the daily reports on the blog and log books and other tasks.
